Project: A profile of a French artist who uses self-portraiture and homoeroticism to confront online censorship.

Concept & Development:
The goal was to interview French artist Anton Collatéral, whose work directly engages with themes of desire, cruising, and the arbitrary nature of social media guidelines. The story is structured as an interview paired with a selection of his own powerful self-portraits. We discussed his artistic motivations, his identity as a self-proclaimed "fag," and his creative strategies for circumventing censorship on platforms like Instagram. The story also includes a curated reference guide to the thinkers who influence his work, such as Georges Bataille and Didier Eribon.
